Code of Ethics
Here at SGM all staff members adhere to a strict policy code, both in terms of our interaction with
clients and in relation to subjects of trace.
All our investigations are undertaken in strict governance with the data protection register and our
staff are reminded of the importance we place on this.
Our staff are constantly kept up to date with any changes in the Data Protection Register which
ensures that our traces meet with all the necessary requirements.
For more information in the protection of the data we hold please refer to the DATA SAFETY link
within the site.
There are no pretext calls undertaken by this organisation and staff are made to sign documents
upon commencement of employment within SGM dictating that at no time will any unscrupulous
calls be made in pursuit of a trace. Failure to comply with this will result in a non negotiable dismissal.
The reason we continue to grow and our client list continues to expand is mostly through word of mouth, our existing clients rest assured that at no times will SGM bring any problems to their door.
Our professional, modern outlook to the business , coupled with our state of the art databases make us one of the leaders in our field.
It seems increasingly the case that we are contacted by potential clients in need of reliable trace work after they have been let down by existing providers, either in terms of inaccurate or unreliable
reports, poor turnaround times, or acting in a less than honourable manner when conducting inquiries.
That is why we don’t give clients unrealistic success rates when asked, we always say that it is totally dependant on the information we are given by them, although I would say that there is a
reason why our main clients are all long term and have forged good relationships with SGM.
